Project Platformation

Located adjacent to the main entrance of the Architecture campus, this prominent spot serves as a gathering point for individuals seeking a momentary respite. Here, amidst the hustle and bustle of academic life, people often congregate to enjoy a well- deserved break, often accompanied by a leisurely drink.
The platform, positioned atop a sturdy concrete pillar, stands tall and round, solidifying its presence as an architectural centerpiece. Its circular base, extending approximately one meter in diameter, provides a flat surface, serving as a foundation for various activities. As one ascends towards the upper section of the platform, the aesthetics transform, revealing a unique blend of natural and human-made elements.

Crafted from small wooden pieces artfully pieced together, the upper part of the platform takes on the shape of a polygon, captivating observers with its harmonious blend of angles and curves. The organic warmth of the wood contrasts with the cool solidity of the concrete, lending an inviting charm to the space. Situated at the boundary of the building, this half-inside, half-outside platform epitomizes a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor environments. It invites students, faculty, and visitors alike to experience a spatial fluidity, encouraging moments of reflection, connection, and creative contemplation.

Amidst the architectural wonders that surround it, this platform stands as a testament to the fusion of form and function, creating an inviting oasis that celebrates both the human spirit and the art of design.
